Purpose of the Role:
This role is focused on driving sales growth and business development in the Industrial & Corrosion segment. The position requires a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to identify, develop, and convert new opportunities while building strong client relationships and ensuring long-term market presence.Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and deliver new sales opportunities across customers, markets, and applications.
- Lead sales development activities using existing products and technologies.
- Prepare market intelligence, commercial justifications, and project definitions for R&D initiatives.
- Research sub-market opportunities and collaborate with regional sales, product management, and supply chain teams.
- Build market insights through data analysis, networks, and industry events.
- Develop execution strategies for opportunities and coordinate with R&D/operations to ensure success.
- Negotiate and secure customers and partners through effective contract management.
- Provide regional and global input, ensuring market segment representation.
- Deliver regular reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.
- Support business activity with additional tasks aligned to team and company objectives.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred) or any other degree in related field ; business qualification desirable.
- 8 years of experience in similar industry, with minimum 3 years of proven sales or business development experience with a strong record of winning new business.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with ability to interpret and act on market insights.
- Resilient, tenacious, and results-oriented, with willingness to travel extensively.
- Passionate about sustainability and capable of working independently as well as in teams.
