For a renovated building with 8 Luxury Apartments in the city centre of Rome, we are looking for a
Sales Manager
This unique building with 8 luxury apartments was built in the 15th Century and has recently been through a long and intensive renovation process. In these prestigious apartments original elements from ancient times (such as ancient wooden doors and inlaid friezes which adorn the rooms) are mixed with sophisticated furnishings from contemporary masters, offering its guests a refined, timeless atmosphere in the beating centre of Rome.
Reporting to the Property Owners, the Sales Manager will sell rooms, function space and all services available of the building to increase exposure and sales productivity.
Main Duties:
- To increase business/occupancy/total revenue and promote the identity of the building through establishing and maintaining good relationships with all relevant clients in the defined sales segment, working to meet the sales targets.
- To solicit and develop new business from identified market segments and sources of business.
- To identify new sources of business based on economic trends and opportunities.
- To retain business by adhering to established retention strategies.
- To attend trade shows, promotions etc. representing the building, to keep a high profile in the market place.
- To input client data on a timely basis and accurately in all the relevant databases and to ensure that the data is clean at all times.
- To assist in monitoring the activities of the competitors.
- To assist in the implementation of the annual Sales & Marketing Business Plan and to establish a list of sales and marketing activities in line with the compilation of the Annual Business Plan.
- To carry out the sales solicitation strategy developed for all applicable markets.
- To work closely with the Revenue Manager, to identify the top accounts and to develop sales and marketing strategies accordingly.
- To ensure that the Sales & Marketing budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are strictly controlled.
Requirements
- 3+ years professional experience in sales department in a business development role for international markets
- Experience in luxury hospitality or luxury retail industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
- Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and collaborative skills
- A track record of steadily growing business through the sales activities
