Romania is a strategically important market, with strong focus on corn, wheat, and sunflower, served through a combination of direct farmer relationships and distribution networks.We are recruiting for 2 open Sales Representative positions, each covering a distinct territory:Position 1: Neamț + IașiPosition 2: Galați
Scope of the Role:
- A field-based, high-autonomy sales role with full ownership of a territory portfolio.
- Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for consolidating and growing the company's presence through direct relationships with farmers and distributors.
- The role operates ~90% in the field and requires independent management of seasonal and annual targets, with no expectation of constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with farmers, distributors, and commercial partners in the territory
- Influence purchasing decisions through value-based arguments, not price alone
- Close contracts in competitive environments and handle complex commercial situations directly at farm level
- Drive market penetration growth at cultivator level
- Execute commercial campaigns and support promotional events and demonstration plots
- Continuously monitor competition and market trends in the assigned area
- Structured activity planning: segmentation, prioritisation, execution
- Regular reporting and market feedback to the management team
- Track territory performance: revenues, product mix, profitability
Candidate Profile
- Ownership & accountability — follows through without waiting for constant supervision
- Commercial mindset — understands the client's economics and positions on value, not just price
- Field problem-solving — finds practical solutions to non-standard situations and acts
- Autonomy & self-organisation — independently plans agenda, priorities, and reporting
- Resilience & determination — maintains performance during campaign peaks
Experience: Agricultural sales / agro-inputs (seeds, crop protection, fertilisers) strongly preferred. FMCG, technical sales, or distribution profiles with genuine affinity for agriculture will also be considered. Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Economics or related field is preferred but not eliminatory. English is an advantage, not a requirement.Compensation & Benefits
- Annual bonus based on KPIs
