Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with end users and management to define business requirements and functional specifications.
- Understand the domain thinking of end-users and actively engage in requirement discussions.
- Make efforts to understand the customer (internal and external), anticipate their needs, and give high priority to customer satisfaction while exhibiting professionalism
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, analyze and understand business processes, cross-functional needs, and system capabilities.
- Work closely with multiple functional team leads in the development of lean processes and operating practices that best utilize the systems to increase quality, productivity and support business goals.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers to translate business requirements and use cases into system requirements.
- Act as the functional change agent by communicating a drive to meet the goals of the business.
- Bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical staff to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives, deliverables, risks and expected results.
- Contribute to large strategic projects and/or new solutions within Salesforce.
- Actively assist in managing Salesforce projects including development, schedule, requirements, testing, scope, risks, budget, communication with the project team and stakeholders.
- Lead workshops, write use cases, create context diagrams, perform stakeholder analysis, testing etc.
- Responsible for the timely completion of project tasks and activities within a functional area by directing the Salesforce activities of others including drafting test cases and plans and completion of user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Responsible for the development of functional training and coordinating the ongoing functional Salesforce support, including, but not limited to the development of functional area “super users”.
- Improve Salesforce training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity.
Must have key skills:
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong functional and configuration expertise in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service elements
- Experience in the development and support of integrated business applications and Salesforce eco system
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user needs/requirements and translate to Salesforce systems requirements
- Strongly developed organization and time management skills
- Proven experience participating in system implementations in a Salesforce Business Analyst or technical role.
- Experience in business process definition, business process improvement, and requirements definition
- Ability to write complex business concepts into necessary forms (feasibility analysis, cost/benefit analysis, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Project management concepts and standards
Other Skills:
- Proficient user of MS Office suite and experience using Lucid Chart preferred. Organized and detail oriented. Able to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, or managers.

Education, Experience, and other requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience with defining business processes in one or more of the following functional areas: Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (business or computer science preferable)
- Functional understanding of the Salesforce application
- Hands-on Lean training/experience (Green Belt, Kaizens) preferred.
- Experience in writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Document (FSD) style documents.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification (preferred)
- Salesforce Administration Certification (a plus)
