Job Description

The ABAP consultant will support the SAP Functional team with respect to Workflow, Reports, interfaces, enhancements, Conversions, forms, etc. The role will include but is not limited to

• Support SAP Functional team and provide technical and operational expertise for Major Developments and Projects
• Responsible for Incident Management in ABAP and ensure timely resolution of Incidents related to ABAP
• Ensure SAP functional best practices are adhered to during Project execution and Support Phase.
• Provide technical feasibility and appropriateness during Project Discussions and resolutions when alternative solutions are available for ABAP tickets
• Perform detailed planning & project management of implementation activities for updates & patching where required
• Maintain process documentation for ABAP processes & tasks
• Ensure Year-end close/month end close checks in ABAP
• Validate and administer approved change requests
• Proactively ensure that ABAP issues cause minimum impact to end user communities

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. in any stream with least 3-5 years in an ABAP consulting role in an SAP environment/client

• SAP ABAP Certification, SAP ABAP application operations, Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Conversions, Forms and interface of these frameworks into SAP.
