Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Noida. As an SAP Basis Consultant with knowledge and expertise, you will be responsible for various aspects of SAP Basis administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our SAP landscape while providing guidance to the team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the technical administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including ECC, BW, CRM, Solution Manager, PI/PO, and other SAP components.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the availability, stability, and optimal performance of SAP systems.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, installations, system copies, system refreshments, and system landscape reconfigurations.
• Apply support packages, enhancement packages, and SAP notes to keep the systems up to date with the latest patches and fixes.
• Define and implement system security measures to protect SAP applications and data, including user management, authorization concepts, and encryption techniques.
• Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to support ongoing projects, system enhancements, and new implementations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the SAP Basis team.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP Basis technologies, tools, and best practices and proactively propose improvements to enhance system performance and stability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for SAP system support and maintenance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure SAP systems are aligned with the underlying infrastructure requirements.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities for SAP systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an SAP Basis Consultant, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proven experience in system upgrades, system copies, system refreshes, and system landscape reconfigurations.
• Proficiency in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture and landscape concepts.
• Expertise in SAP security administration and authorization concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• SAP Basis certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and IT service management processes.
