We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Noida. As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant with extensive knowledge and expertise, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of SAP Basis administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our SAP landscape while providing guidance to the team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and implementations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the end-to-end technical administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP landscape, including multiple systems and components such as ECC, BW, CRM, Solution Manager, PI/PO, and others.

Perform advanced system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of SAP systems.

Plan and execute complex system upgrades, installations, system copies, system refreshes, and system landscape reconfigurations.

Evaluate and implement new SAP technologies, features, and functionalities to improve system performance and efficiency.

Apply patches, support packages, enhancement packages, and SAP notes to keep the systems up-to-date and compliant with the latest requirements.

Define and implement robust system security measures, including user management, role-based access control, and data encryption.

Provide expert guidance and support to functional and technical teams during project implementations, system enhancements, and integration activities.

Mentor and coach junior members of the SAP Basis team, providing technical leadership and fostering their professional growth.

Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and industry standards in SAP Basis administration and proactively propose innovative solutions and process improvements.

Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure optimal alignment and integration of SAP systems with underlying hardware and network infrastructure.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for SAP system support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience as an SAP Basis Consultant, with a significant portion of it in a senior or leadership role.

Strong expertise and in-depth knowledge of SAP Basis administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance across multiple SAP modules and components.

Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex system upgrades, installations, system copies, and system landscape transformations.

Extensive experience in advanced system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems.

Deep understanding of SAP architecture, landscape design, and system integration concepts.

Expert-level knowledge of SAP security administration, including user management, role-based access control, and data protection.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

SAP Basis certification, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database), is highly desirable.

Proven experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members.

Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
