Hiring for a Global SAP Practice Head for a top tier global Digital Solutions, Systems Integration, Consulting and IT Services major.

Role details:
- Title / Designation: Global Practice Leader – SAP
- Position: VP / SVP
- Reporting Manager: EVP & Global Head – Enterprise Technologies
- Location: Mumbai (1st preference); Pune / Bengaluru (2nd preference)
Role & responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the strategic roadmap of the SAP practice, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to expand solution offerings and client base.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the SAP practice, staying abreast of industry trends, and proactively introducing cutting-edge solutions to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges and provide innovative SAP solutions.
- Oversee global delivery of high-quality SAP solutions to clients.
- Provide visionary leadership to the SAP practice, inspiring and motivating a high-performing team
- Own the P&L of the SAP practice, implementing effective financial strategies to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness, managing the practice budget and ensuring financial targets and profitability goals are met, with tight monitoring and control of project costs, scope and schedule, to optimize resource utilization.
- Steer continued customer satisfaction, maintaining strong client relationships, addressing client needs effectively and showcase SAP delivery excellence to ensure client delight and loyalty.
- Provide visionary leadership to the SAP practice team, ensuring effective collaboration, skill development, and recruit, develop, and retain top talent as a motivated SAP workforce.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting continuous learning and development.
Candidate requirements:
- Total SAP experience of 25+ years with at least the latest 10 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale SAP projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP technologies, including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align SAP solutions with clients' business objectives.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management.
- In-depth expertise in IT industry trends and best practices.
- Strong record of building and leading high-performance teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution acumen.
