Sap Implementation Experience
- Experience in business requirement discussion and study with the client to document the AS IS and WOULD BE Business Blueprint (BBP) including user authorization requirement, data sources and report requirement.
- Configuration and customization of the module as per BBP.
- Demonstration of the configured system to core team users.
- Training users and designing the User Acceptance Test scenarios,
- Conducting UAT and obtaining approval,
- Master Data collection and purification.
- Transport of final configuration to production server.
- Upload master data, cut over / Go Live and post go-live support.
Technical Experience
- This includes all aspects of the payroll processing function including support of the HR Payroll Department during the weekly, biweekly and monthly payroll processing cycles , research and configuration for federal, state and local payroll taxes, configuration of payroll deductions (for benefits, union related items, govt mandated items, etc.), on boarding and off boarding of employees for acquisitions and divestitures, year-end processing, TDS Certicifates, PF, ESI, Insurance etc. as applicable, BSI (payroll tax software) maintenance, and touch points with other SAP modules that impact payroll (Time, Travel Management, Accounts Payable, Finance, and others).
- Provides support for OM enhancements, acquisitions and divestitures, client IT capital projects and ongoing production support primarily for the SAP HR Payroll module.
- Overall responsibility for payroll processing and administration
- Manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to be accurate and truthful i.e. Investments declaration, Tax Returns
- Ensuring time lines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance
- Ensuring Employee Benefits including Employee reimbursements as per rules and regulations of income tax
- Responsible for MIS and Analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits with Standardization of reports for better decision making
- Verification & Reconciliation of monthly payroll
- Calculation and deposit of monthly liability of TDS on salaries
- Preparation & Submission of Quarterly and Annual TDS returns
- Responsible of publishing monthly Payroll Dashboard
- Ensure Monthly payroll provisions to Finance
Other Skills
- Excellent written, verbal, listening, communication and presentation skills are required.
- Experience in interacting with Senior Management
- Highly self-motivated and directed, Experience in working in team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Conducting payroll transactions in an efficient, accurate & timely manner
- Maintaining and updating payroll information and resolving any discrepancies
- Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures
- Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as required
