ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
DESIGNATION: Sr. SAP HCM Consultant
REPORT TO: Team Lead / Project Lead
LOCATION: Bangalore
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Graduate with MBA (HR) or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 10+ years with 4+ implementations
REMUNERATION: Comparable to the best in industry.
Sap Implementation Experience
- Experience in business requirement discussion and study with the client to document the AS IS and WOULD BE Business Blueprint (BBP) including user authorization requirement, data sources and report requirement.
- Configuration and customization of the module as per BBP.
- Demonstration of the configured system to core team users.
- Training users and designing the User Acceptance Test scenarios, Conducting UAT and obtaining approval,
- Master Data collection and purification.
- Transport of final configuration to production server. Upload master data, cut over / Go Live and post go-live support.
Technical Experience
- This includes all aspects of the payroll processing function including support of the HR Payroll Department during the weekly, biweekly and monthly payroll processing cycles , research and configuration for federal, state and local payroll taxes, configuration of payroll deductions (for benefits, union related items, govt mandated items, etc.), on boarding and off boarding of employees for acquisitions and divestitures, year-end processing, TDS Certificates, PF, ESI, Insurance etc. as applicable, BSI (payroll tax software) maintenance, and touch points with other SAP modules that impact payroll (Time, Travel Management, Accounts Payable, Finance, and others).
- Done 4+ implementations by oneself (not as a group)
- OM / PA / TM ( positive and negative) implementation / enhancements, acquisitions and divestitures, client IT capital projects and ongoing production support primarily for the SAP HR Payroll module.
- Experience in Travel Management, ESS/MSS
- Manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to be accurate and truthful i.e., Investments declaration, Tax Returns
- Ensuring timelines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance
- Ensuring Employee Benefits including Employee reimbursements as per rules and regulations of income tax
- Responsible for MIS and Analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits with Standardization of reports for better decision making
- Calculation and deposit of monthly liability of TDS on salaries
- Preparation & Submission of Quarterly and Annual TDS returns
- Responsible of publishing monthly Payroll Dashboard and Ensure Monthly payroll provisions to Finance
Other Skills
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills are required.
- Experience in interacting with Senior Management
- Self-motivated and directed, Experience in working in team-oriented, collaborative environment.
