Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Plastic Recycling business unit.
• Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.

End-to-End Operations:

• Oversee all aspects of the Plastic Recycling process, from collection and sorting to processing and distribution.
• Implement best practices to optimize each stage of the recycling lifecycle.

Team Management:

• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for professional development.

Quality Assurance:

• Establish and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality recycled plastic materials.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality and consistency.

Market Expansion:

• Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the reach of the Plastic Recycling business.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and regulatory standards governing plastic recycling operations.
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs and legal teams to address compliance issues proactively.

Financial Management:

• Solely responsible for the profit and loss and growth of the Plastic business with proper cash flow management.
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with plastic business, market fluctuations, and regulatory shifts.
• Working towards maximizing profitability by optimizing revenue streams, controlling costs, and improving operational efficiency.

Required Candidate Profile:

• B. Tech/ BE-  (Plastic Technology) and M.B.A. Graduate from a Premium Institute.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in Plastic Recycling operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Comprehensive understanding of Plastic Technology and Recycling processes.
• Proven leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with a track record of achieving operational excellence.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in the recycling industry
