Project Description: Orinoco is a workflow platform utilized for automating various business processes by our middle-office team. Our technologies range from Java to Tibco, deployed on dedicated machines and cloud platforms. We use Docker, OpenShift, HTTP/Rest, and JMS (EMS implementation), with Oracle as our preferred database system. Our GUI is built on the Eclipse platform (Java&RCPTT). We embrace Scrum and continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodology and Software Development Life Cycle.
- Fluency in Romanian, with the ability to work onsite at the client's premises as required.
- Experience with Jira or similar tools for organizing and tracking team efficiency.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in the banking sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a scrum team of software and quality engineers to implement priority initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and technology/quality management to ensure consistent delivery of quality software each sprint.
- Coach the team to continually improve through retrospectives and the application of learnings.
- Evaluate team dynamics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate standard Scrum ceremonies and generate Scrum artifacts for transparency.
- Evangelize Agile/Scrum processes throughout the organization.
- Foster a culture of self-management within the team and standardize Scrum practices.
- Utilize Jira to assist the Scrum team in organizing and tracking efficiency.
