About this Role: Your responsibilities will be to build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a microservices architecture, drive the evolution of the system architecture, make appropriate technology choices, and ensure production environments stay live through high levels of concurrency You will participate in pre-design work with the product team for new features to outline highlevel solutions and align them with the overall architecture and also participate in design and coding/code review with the team to ensure all solutions adhere to established guidelines You will be involved in recruiting engineers for the team and mentoring them As a company, we are very data driven and customer focused. About You: ● You have a minimum of 7 years of experience working on production systems at a productcompany with a decent scale ● You have a deep understanding of design patterns, memory/performance optimization, and how to summarise and share knowledge ● You have experience developing software services and an understanding of design for scalability,performance, and reliability ● You have excellent experience in managing security, reliability, performance, maintainability, and scalability ● You have familiarity with microservice architecture, containers, and related technologies ● You have strong knowledge of software development fundamentals, including relevant backgroundin computer science fundamentals and agile development methodologies. ● You have a strong development experience in using modern web frameworks in programminglanguages like Ruby on Rails, Python, Javascript. ● You have a strong understanding of relational databases and SQL and you practice test drivendevelopment ● Would be an added advantage if you have a passion for mentoring and helping people on your team grow and achieve their goals ● You are an excellent collaborator & communicator.
