Our Client is a large Indian Conglomerate with Diversified Interests and is an active player in the Public Private Partnership space. We are helping them recruit a Sector Head - Ethics & Integrity to be based at their Corporate office in New Delhi reporting to Group Head - Ethics & Integrity
Purpose of the Role-
Overall Supervision in ensuring building of ethics culture in the group by
- Collection of intelligence on misconduct, revenue & reputational loss;
- Enquires / Investigation on wrong doings of employees, vendors etc. in instances / concerns raised Suo Moto, with Management support & Whistleblower channel;
- Enhancing ethics awareness amongst employees, vendors etc. through diverse channels, viz. personal interaction / trainings / workshops;
- Identifying process gaps, raising System Improvement Notes and ensuring appropriate remedial corrective actions / countermeasures
- Seeking support / concurrence of Top management in driving ethical issues
Main Accountabilities - KRA's
1. For each of the Projects of the Group-.
- Planning & Coordinating - Intelligence & Investigation functions
- Assessing & Evaluating of evidence
- Report compilation & presentation
- Follow up with Management on implementation of E&I findings & recommendations
- Escalation before higher forum in cases where action taken does not appear proportionate to the misconduct / violations established
2. System Improvements:
Identify process gaps and loop holes post investigations or otherwise and suggest appropriate System improvements & ensure implementation
3. Getting support of Top management in driving ethical issues and coordinating meetings of Ethics Councils
4. Publicity & promotion: Publicizing promotion material for spreading ethics awareness within the Group
5. Enhancing ethics awareness by education and interactions with employees, vendors etc.
- Ensuring training of all staff
- Training for new employees
- Training for vendors/ JV staff/ outsourced staff
6. Coordinate FRA ( Fraud Risk Assessments) & Data analytics conducted in risk prone areas and ensure mitigation of identified Risks
7. Team Management, Guidance, Succession Planning, Capability building, Training and Mentoring the team
8. Working with cross Functional Teams like HR, Audit, Finance and Legal
Qualification - Graduate / Post Graduate - Full time Education only
Must have Mindset of Investigating Agencies and must be Legally sound - ability to deal with Investigative agencies both Government and Private
Should be able to bring out the findings and drive it with the Business Leadership
Excellent English is a must for this role both spoken and written
Experience - 20 plus years of experience (Looking at matured individuals only)
