It is an executive expert position (not a management one). This role of SEED-PESTICIDE PURCHASING/BUYING Coordinator is similar to a Category Manager position in other relevant companies.

Job role:
- Purchasing seeds and pesticides from suppliers and supporting the commercial team in achieving monthly and annual sales targets for these products.
- Reports to: Commercial Director Agribusiness
Key Responsibilities
- Development of the annual seed and pesticide sales strategy together with the Agri Commercial Director.
- Negotiation of purchase contracts with suppliers.
- Management of purchase contracts signed with suppliers: monitoring of contract execution, stock management, monitoring of discounts, negotiation of returns, etc.
- Knowledge of the market and the current needs of customers, depending on the specific area;
- Building the commercial strategy together with the Dir. Commercial Agri: product portfolio, products in focus, promotion packages, the proposal of marketing actions to support the sales effort.
How will the success of the occupant of this position be measured? (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets (volume and margin) for each product category.
- Efficient management of merchandise inventory (no depreciation, out-of-date products);
- Achievement of product targets (launch of new products, bringing new products into the portfolio, achievement of targets on products in focus).
- Travel requirements Weekly field activity minimum 1-2 days
Skills and competences
- Very good negotiation skills.
- Technical, agronomic skills acquired in university or in previous work (knowledge of agricultural crops, diseases, pests, types of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides specific to each crop);
- Very good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and identify solutions.
- Result orientation.
- Very good numerical skills.
- Very good computer skills, especially Excel
Educational requirements
- Graduate, preferably in agronomy.
- Driving license.
- Professional experience - minimum 3-5 years experience in the agricultural field, in activities related to the purchase or sale of seeds and pesticides.
- Ideally have held a similar position or role as Technical Manager (supporting the sales team with technical-agronomic information).
- Foreign languages required English medium-advanced level (written and spoken)
- Ideal personality profile - pragmatic, results-oriented.
- Commercial spirit.
- Positive, constructive attitude.

Compensation package:
- Net monthly salary range min 1.000-1.300Eur depending on experience on CIM undetermined period and a possibility of accessing a monthly bonus of NET 2.000 lei or achieving monthly objectives at a minimum of 80% (taken in proportion to the degree of achievement of objectives)
- Annual bonus according to the Performance Management System (max. 2 salaries depending on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives)
