Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accounting records, including general ledgers, journals, registers, and individual accounts.
• Review, reconcile, and validate financial transactions by verifying supporting documentation such as invoices and expense vouchers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, as well as local authorities, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required documentation.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of internal controls and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements, including the preparation of tax returns.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
• Experience working with SAP is mandatory.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
