Responsabilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial information for transaction recording, financial reporting, and accuracy verification.
• Conduct complex analysis of financial and accounting information.
• Coordinate monthly and annual reconciliations and close activities for designated accounts.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to inventory, suppliers, and external suppliers, ensuring supporting documentation is accurate, complete, and archived according to internal procedures.
• Handle recharges to affiliated parties on a monthly and quarterly basis; reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Responsible for inventory: verification, analysis, and monthly recording of management discharge costs.
• Monitor capital investment projects: verify procedures, ensure budget compliance, and approve orders in Ariba.
• Record transactions in the accounting system for reclassifications, transfers, and asset disposals.
• Support external and internal auditors by preparing reports and providing requested information.
• Organize, analyze, enter data, and support general inventory tasks.
• Deal with complex business transactions, transfer pricing, adjustments, and compliance with US GAAP and Romanian regulations.
• Work with major consultancy firms like PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, and EY for necessary support and training.

Education, Qualifications, or Experience:

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in English (advanced level).
• Understanding of tax legislation.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA are preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous, especially with experience in multinational environments.
