Our client, a company operating in the field of production, with commercial activities in Romania, a subsidiary of an international company is looking for a Senior Accountant for the Cluj Office.

Senior Accountant

The right candidate should have a passion for taxation and accounting and experience in this field.

The role reports to the General Manager of the company and also to the Group Accountant Manager from HQ.

Responsibilities:

•   You will manage the monthly closing process, prepare tax returns and ensure the accuracy of the Balance Sheet and the relationship with the Tax Authorities;

•  You will prepare of the annual financial statements and the annual fiscal declarations and you will be the contact point in relation with auditors, provide support and explanations in the monthly closings and other accounting and fiscal topics;

•   You will prepare various reports and statements for management and review the annual budget and cash forecasts;

•   You will organizing and carrying out financial and accounting activities within the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or any Finance related field;
• Minimum 4 years experience in Accounting/Audit;
• Ideally CECCAR membership;
• Good knowledge of IFRS and reporting to the group is mandatory;
• Good English and Excel skills;
• Good knowledge of the Fiscal Law;
• Open minded, problem solver, leadership oriented.

Location of the job is in metropolitan area and the offer includes a company car.

The type of work program is hybrid, after the 3 month evaluation.
