A reputable consulting firm is seeking a seasoned Actuarial Expert with extensive experience in Life insurance. This position involves overseeing and executing actuarial initiatives, supporting senior leaders, and contributing to strategic business development.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent
• Over 7 years of experience in the Life insurance industry or related field
• Proficiency in Excel and actuarial software tools
• Capability to manage shifting priorities and projects effectively
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
• Fellowship with ASSA or IFoA is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leaders to support various actuarial projects
• Perform tasks related to reserving, statutory valuations, and product pricing
• Engage in capital and asset-liability modelling
• Support the Head of Actuarial Functions with reinsurance assessments
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations
• Conduct market research and analysis
• Assist with the implementation of IFRS 17 standards
• Maintain adherence to professional and ethical guidelines
