SalaryJob Description
Senior Advisory Consultant - Digital Health
Location: Zurich, SwitzerlandThe Company
Our client is a fast‑growing European technology company. Despite their size, they operate in a uniquely small‑unit structure, meaning you’ll be part of a close‑knit, autonomous team based in Switzerland.
The company’s mission is simple: build software that changes the world and makes life easier for its users. As a long‑standing digital transformation partner in healthcare and other highly complex domains, they design, build, and operate solutions used by millions.
Their culture is grounded in openness, honesty, and continuous learning. Cross‑functional, agile teams work side‑by‑side with customers, empowered to challenge, innovate, and improve. And beyond the work, the company places high value on community—team events, knowledge‑sharing sessions, after‑work gatherings, and simply enjoying the people you work with.
This is a place where people create, learn, and grow together.
The Role
You would be part of a new international advisory team in Digital Health and is now seeking an experienced, energetic Senior Advisory Consultant who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and executive leadership.
You help customers turn strategic ambition into practical execution, from high‑level direction to the real‑world detail. You think independently, critically, and in systems. But you are also pragmatic. You know that major health organsiations operate with politics, processes, and legacy behaviours, and you know how to influence change from where they stand. You can support C‑level leaders and boards through complex decision‑making with clarity, structure, and credibility.
This is a strategic, high‑trust role in an executive environment at the frontline of technological innovation—where you will have significant influence over frameworks, storytelling, engagement models, and your own focus areas. The team consists of seasoned executives who challenge and elevate one another daily. They expect the same from you.
Your Qualifications & Experience
Leadership & Strategy
-
5+ years’ experience as a team lead within a technical or software‑driven organisation. You’ve lived the realities of people leadership, motivation challenges, team dynamics, delivery pressures, and clearing the path for high performance.
- 3+ years working directly with strategy at C‑level/board level. This can be as an in‑house executive or as an external advisor. You understand both strategic process and execution.
Technical Depth
-
A strong technical background, ideally with hands‑on experience earlier in your career (you may still code for fun).
- Expertise in or advisory experience with architecture, data, AI, and modern software practices in digtal health, combined with a built‑in detector for technology buzzwords and empty promises.
Executive Presence & Communication
-
You communicate with clarity, confidence, and precision—in writing, in person, on stage, or in virtual discussions.
-
You are fully comfortable with C‑suite interaction, both 1:1 and in group settings.
-
Excellent English (written and spoken). German is a plus.
Human Skills
-
High integrity and emotional intelligence, with the ability to “read the room”.
-
Experience leading diverse teams, culturally, cognitively, and in discipline.
Your Personal Traits
-
You are committed to continuous self‑development, professionally and personally.
-
You are resilient, learning quickly from setbacks.
-
You bring humour, humility, and energy—because the team works hard, but also has fun.
-
You understand your own blind spots and show genuine respect for the expertise of others.
What Our Client Promises You
This is a role you can shape significantly. For the right person, it offers substantial growth both professionally and personally. Whether you aspire to move “to the other side” of the tech ecosystem, return to an area of passion, or carve out a unique advisory niche, this role gives you the platform.
You can expect:
- Exceptional colleagues: sharp, experienced, honest, down‑to‑earth, and fun.
- High‑level impact: work directly with global enterprises and industry leaders at the highest decision‑making levels.
- A culture that breaks the mould: rethinking what consulting should look like rather than repeating what it has always been.
- Strategic influence: play a central role in shaping the future of the client’s global advisory practice.
- Maximum flexibility: high‑trust environment, flexible hours, and the option to work from home or the office.
