Role & responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test Angular components following proper standards and best practices throughout the full lifecycle
• Participate in architectural level decisions for the application, including evaluation of microservices and micro-frontend approaches
• Create responsive and cross-browser compatible Angular applications, optimizing performance on the browser using custom webpack configurations
• Integrate Angular front-end with RESTful APIs built with modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens
• Develop comprehensive test cases for each Angular component using the testing libraries provided by the framework
• Proactively debug Angular code running in the browser environment to identify and rectify issues

Candidate requirements:

• 4-6 years of hands-on frontend development experience using Angular 6+, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Material Design, preferably with prior Insurance industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in using webpack and Node/NPM configurations for building Angular applications.
• Expertise in implementing and maintaining Service Workers for features like Push Notifications and Background Sync
• Deep understanding of Microservices, Micro-frontend architectures, and Progressive Web App (PWA) concepts
• Strong expertise in unit testing using frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, or Jasmine
• Extensive experience with code management processes and strategies on Git/Bitbucket
• Ability to mentor and lead teams, with a proven track record of understanding requirements from User Stories
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries like D3 is a plus
