This role is ideal for a technical expert passionate about designing tailored HVAC systems for mission-critical environments like data centers, healthcare facilities, and commercial projects. You’ll collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Solution Development

• Interpret BOQ, tender specifications, and client requirements to design precision air conditioning systems (PAC/AHU/Cyber wall units/CMU).

• Conduct heat load calculations and select optimal equipment sizes for DX and chilled water-based systems.

• Design and validate system components (compressors, cooling coils, fans) using industry software tools.

Software & Tools Expertise

• Utilize specialized software for PAC/AHU/Cyber wall unit design, Eurovent certification, and technical compliance.

• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals for client/consultant approval.

Project Execution & Coordination

• Resolve site queries and conduct visits to ensure seamless project execution.

• Attend client/consultant meetings to align technical solutions with project goals.

Compliance & Documentation

• Prepare compliance statements for BOQs and technical specifications.

• Complete technical data sheets, tender documents, and Eurovent-certified product selections.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Present technical solutions to clients/consultants and secure approvals.

• Address design-related queries and provide post-submission support.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:

• 7+ years in HVAC system design, specifically with precision air conditioning (PAC, AHU, chilled water systems).

• Proficiency in heat load estimation, component selection (compressors/coils), and Eurovent-certified design tools.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of DX and chilled water systems.

• Expertise in HVAC software (e.g., Eurovent, heat load calculators, AutoCAD).

• Familiarity with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, or ISO standards.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Work Environment:

• Willingness for occasional site visits and client meetings in Mumbai.
