Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
-
Identify and secure new business opportunities with Maruti Suzuki, Honda, and other major OEMs in the northern belt.
-
Leverage deep industry connections to build long-term strategic partnerships with decision-makers.
-
Develop and implement growth strategies to expand Alicon’s market presence.
-
Drive new product development (NPD) discussions with key customers.
2. Customer Relationship Management
-
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with senior leadership and procurement heads at key OEMs.
-
Act as the primary liaison between Alicon and key customers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
3. Strategic Marketing & Commercial Negotiation
-
Develop pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and cost optimization plans to maximize profitability.

Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure commercially viable deals.

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to maintain client competitive edge.
4. Operational & Cross-functional Collaboration
-
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.

Provide insights on customer needs, market demand, and operational efficiencies to drive business success.

Support the technical and R&D teams in developing customized solutions for OEM clients.
5. Public Relations & Brand Positioning

Represent client at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance visibility.

Strengthen positioning as a trusted partner for automotive OEMs in North India.

Engage with media, associations, and industry bodies to maintain a strong brand presence.
Key Requirements
1. Experience & Industry Knowledge
-
15+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within the automotive sector.
-
Strong exposure to casting, machining, or allied automotive components is highly preferred.
-
Extensive experience in working with Maruti Suzuki, Honda, and other OEMs in North India.
2. Strong Industry Connections
-
Must have well-established relationships with senior decision-makers at Maruti, Honda, and other OEMs.
-
A deep network of contacts in purchase, sourcing, engineering, and senior management teams.
3. Business & Commercial Acumen
-
Strong understanding of business planning, forecasting, cost structures, and financial strategies.
-
Proven expertise in price negotiations, long-term contracts, and key account management.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
-
Experience in handling high-value deals and complex negotiations with large OEMs.
-
Ability to work independently and lead high-impact initiatives for revenue growth.

Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Educational Qualification
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing (preferred).
-
An MBA or equivalent qualification would be an added advantage.
