Summary Role Description:
Looking for Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, with 4+ years relevant experience in Tableau development, for leading FinTech company.
Client description:
Our client is a leading fintech company headquartered in San Diego with significant development and production facilities in Chennai, Delhi and Bengaluru with an intense focus on providing alternative and friction-less credit solutions to under banked customers that do not have adequate access to mainstream banking services.
Role Details:
- Title / Designation: Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Roles & responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining advanced Tableau dashboards, and using Tableau in conjunction with a RDBMS, Data Lake, APIs.
- Bringing data from S3, redshift data lake and creating visualizations in Tableau
- Coordinate with developers, gather requirements from various functions across organization to produce technical solutions to give effective plan, implement, and track sprint for the team
- Collaboration with key business stakeholders to specify and design reports that encompass a wide variety of business functions.
- Designing, analysing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting BI related modules (batch processes, reports, dashboards, KPI’s, etc.) to satisfy business intelligence requirements.
- Analyse the issues faced by business users in the visualization/report and solve them with critical thinking and Rapid turn-around of urgent ad-hoc reports.
Candidate requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Tableau developer
- Proficient knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL and SQL language.
- Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python etc.)
- Good understanding of AWS cloud platform and working knowledge on Redshift, S3, Athena, Quick Sight, Dynamo DB, Kinesis, Lambda etc
- Makes expert technical decisions on designing the reports/visualizations
- SAP BO knowledge will be a plus
- Experience in BI report migration projects
