For a 5* resort in Sardinia, we are looking for a:

Senior Conference & Event Manager

Natural leader, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated capabilities in time management and coordination of both sales and operational aspects of events, the senior C&E Manager will be responsible for:
 

• Ensure the correct management of RFPs, following company and brand standard procedures.
• Qualify every request, prepare and deliver excellent C&E proposals, customizing offers in accordance with client needs.
• Regular and timely updating of CRM with opportunity updates, calls, account information, tasks, projects, etc.  Ensure the team follows a proper and regular update as well.
• Ensure the PMS is properly and regularly updated by the C&E team.
• Actively coach, manage and motivate the C&E Sales & Ops Teams.
• Focus on the teams KPI conversions in accordance with assigned goals.
• Event Management from A to Z, including the operational organization at property level.
• Actively seek opportunities for new business and cross selling for the resort
• Prepare reports and stats for the Group Director of Sales & Marketing and the Director of Sales on weekly/monthly basis.
• Contribute ideas to improve standards and new ideas of products and services offered.
• Attend sales and commercial internal meetings.
• Participate and/or conduct site inspections and Fam Trips on property.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in MICE, featuring:
  • Significant experience in a reactive and pro-active MICE sales role.
  • Experience in an international hotel group
  • Significant experience in leading a Team.
• Computer literate and confident use of PMS and CRM.
• Strong analytical and strategic mind-set, accompanied by regular use of

daily/weekly reporting systems.

• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
