Our client is one of SA’s leading Engineering insurance specialists and is looking to appoint a technically strong claims professional.  If you do not already have any Engineering claims experience, your willingness to learn this line of business and your enthusiasm will be the biggest contributing factor to being successful in this role.

In your minimum of 7 years’ non-life niche/corporate claims experience, you have built up solid claims administration knowledge that include complex claims, accurate claim assessment, assessor appointment, corresponding with brokers and service providers and attending to claim documentation. 

You offer a matric qualification (with a bachelor’s degree – or studying towards – an advantage), an RE5 accreditation, and you are a FAIS Representative not working under supervision.  You are computer literate, being proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

You aspire for growth, you enjoy learning new skills and are always open to developing and training.  Your skills and attributes include being well-spoken and confident, having good telephone etiquette, having strong interpersonal skills, being able to perform well under pressure, and you work with attention to detail and accuracy.
