Role details:

• Title / Designation: Sr. CloudOps Engineer
• Reporting Manager: Technology Leader – India
• Location: Mumbai / Remote

Role & responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact – for all onsite and offshore teams – for all hands-on admin tasks and troubleshooting for Applications, Databases, Servers, and AWS.
• Manage the production deployment, including its automation
• Design and implement availability, scalability and performance plans for the AWS managed service environment
• Design, deploy and maintain enterprise-class security, network, and systems management applications within an AWS environment
• Institute infrastructure as code, security automation, and automation of routine maintenance tasks

Candidate requirements:

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift, AWS and other relevant skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Understanding of protocols / technologies like Microservices, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, LDAP, JDBC, SQL, HTML
• Extensive experience with AWS (IAM, Route53, SSM, S3, EFS, EBS, ELB, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, RDS, Cloud Formation, DynamoDB)
• Solid understanding of AWS IAM Roles and Policies
• Ability to learning on the job and to explore new technologies – with little supervision
• Relevant technical specifications – highly preferable
