Must Have:

10+ years of experience working with building contracting company.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or any degree

Responsibility:

Responsible to manage and control the complete commercial and contractual aspects of the Group Companies for both External and In-House Projects.
* Dealing with general and contractual correspondence for all external Projects.
* Appointment of Cost Consultants for the Pre-Contract Services for the In-House Projects.
* Appointment of Subcontractors for both External and In-House Projects and manage them in terms of finalization of price comparison, negotiate and finalization of LOA and Subcontract Agreement, review and approval of interim and final payment certificates and close-out the final account.
* Recruitment and appointment of commercial team for all external and in-house Projects and guide them to follow the best practices and in line with the Company Policies.
* Manage and guide the team of QS’s, Cost Control Engineer’s, Procurement Engineer’s and Contract Administrators.
* Implement Cost Control Procedures and monitor / control the same on a regular basis and advise the Owners for the corrective actions which needs to be taken for smooth functioning of the Group Companies.
* Manage the Cash Flow of each Project and advise the Group Accounts Department for necessary arrangements for smooth functioning of the Projects.
* Appointment of external Design and Supervision Consultants for the In-House Projects and manage them.
* Review and monitor the cost to complete for each Project and carry out re-conciliation with accounts department on a monthly basis and provide corrective measures to the Project Manager’s to achieve the Project within budget and duration.

Contract & Commercial Management:
* Provides contract guidance and negotiation skills in concert with procurement staff, contracts group, as applicable, and delivery leadership on subcontracts. Manages major subcontract change orders, issues and disputes.
* Engages with project controls to monitor schedule and liquidated damages for prime and subcontracts.
* Review and deal with claims preparation / submission, attend meetings with the Employer and the Engineer’s team, final account negotiation and settlements.
* Identify improvements to commercial procedures & manage the monthly commercial audit process.

Financial & Cost Management:
* Coordinates all accounting and financial management functions including monthly and annual financial reports.
* Manages production of monthly payment applications for all UAE projects and payment certificates for both the domestic and nominated subcontractors.
* Quantifies, values and supports project managers to adjudicate claims/variation orders for additional costs received from subcontractors/suppliers.
* Manages bonds, letter of credit and insurance requirements for the project including close-out activities.
* Carryout cashflow and work in progress and cost to complete forecast reporting for all UAE Projects.
* Manage CVR's on a monthly basis to satisfy the requirements of the Company and provide any other reports which may be required such as PCR, Dashboard, Profit Report and I&E Report.
