Our client, a fast‑moving mobile telecom operator in Switzerland, is looking for a Senior Core Network Project Manager to drive the evolution of its Mobile Core Voice infrastructure.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on Core expert with strong experience in CS, IMS, VoLTE and exposure to Nokia Core Network platforms.
You will lead strategic network evolution initiatives, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and shape the future architecture of mobile voice services.

Your Responsibilities

Lead small to medium‑sized Core Network projects from design to delivery.
Drive technical and architectural discussions with internal experts and network vendors.
Evaluate vendor proposals (technical feasibility, timelines, long‑term relevance).
Coordinate internal technical forums to deploy new functionalities and solve complex issues.
Contribute actively to the Core Network SW/HW roadmap and support long‑term architectural decisions.
Align engineering teams around shared technical visions and implementation paths.
Prepare clear, structured technical documentation and presentations for management.
Take full ownership of selected architectures and ensure successful implementation end‑to‑end.

What You Bring

Master’s degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
7+ years of experience in Mobile Core Voice domains.
Deep expertise in Circuit‑Switched (CS) and IMS networks, with proven hands‑on work on live networks.
Experience with Nokia Core Network equipment such as CSCF, HSS, MGW, EPC, VoLTE stack.
Strong background in Core Network architecture & evolution strategies.
Experience leading technical projects in a telecom operator or vendor environment.
Understanding of cloud-based / virtualized Core environments.
Strong analytical mindset, clear communicator, pragmatic decision‑maker.
Fluent in English (C1), additional languages are a plus.
