For their offices in Ticino, near Lugano, is looking for a:

Senior Developer / Architect – Ecommerce Platform – Ticino (LVGA)
 

As an E-commerce Platform Technical you will participate in the lifecycle of digital application projects using company defined standards and tools. You will collaborate in business requirements discovery and solution design of the company end-to-end E-commerce platform seeking new opportunities either to innovate the as-is or adopt new technologies.

Main Responsibilities
 

• Design and architect scalable Ecommerce platforms, interfaces and functionality using cloud and other emerging technologies
• Support ecommerce business recommending solutions to improve customer experience and meet the business goals
• Create and implement processes and procedures for integration of ecommerce site with backend systems, including pricing, inventory, fulfillment, analytics, and regulatory functions
• Responsible for collecting, understanding, and documenting business requirements and translating those into functional and system design specifications
• Defining and enhancing the technology architecture and business functions of the current solution based on evolving business
• Managing the design, development, testing, and deployment activities
• Research, propose, implement new architectures, tools and cloud technologies.
• Build up proof of concept to demonstrate the value of features or solutions
• Support the team to write and improve automated and continuous integration, testing, release, and deployments
• Work with developers to analyze requirements and specifications for technical design, analyze system capabilities, limitations and performance.

Qualifications and experiences
 

• Bachelor in Computer science 
• Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions including customer relationship management, payment, ERP, CMS, etc
• Extensive experience with common ecommerce frontend platform (Magento, Shopify, Salesforce)
• Strong hands-on AWS experience
• Extensive experience integrating systems through APIs including REST and SOAP interfaces
• ETL transformations, data integration, system integration
• Programming in Java, JS
• Great visual communicator, able to create architectural documents that describe systems, integrations, software delivery approaches, data relationships, process sequencing, networking and other key concepts
• Document, support, and maintain software functionality
• Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications

Nice to Have

• ITIL® knowledge and skills; ITIL® Foundation level certification is a plus Experience on public could services such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
• AWS certification is plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent  spoken & written English is a must)
