Hiring for a Senior Director & Technical Delivery Head – Large Program Management/Delivery, for a scale-up mid-tier IT Platforms & Services client.

Our client offers a wide range of high-end, business-focussed technology platforms and solutions, including a suite of AI-driven Digital Manufacturing Products, Digital Engineering Services, Data & Analytics and AI / ML Solutions, DeepTech Consulting and assorted IT projects, for their global clientele. To strengthen their high-growth trajectory, they are expanding their technology and product engineering leadership team.

• Title / Designation: Senior Director & Technical Delivery Head – Large Program Management/Delivery
• Reporting Manager: AVP – Technology Delivery
• Location: Chennai, India

Role & responsibilities:

• Provide cohesive program delivery leadership across Data & Analytics and Digital Engineering workstreams, covering program / delivery management in all dimensions, including technology, processes and tools, people, governance, communication, risk management, client engagement management, contract management and allied areas
• Provide technical directional steer on the relevant workstreams, working closely with internal delivery teams and client stakeholders
• Build capacity capabilities and competencies required to handle current engagements and forecasts for the future in mind
• Mentor teams from both technology thought leadership and career growth standpoints
• Manage dependencies and hand-offs across internal delivery teams, to ensure cohesion, clarity and combined interface to clients
• Lend technology delivery solutions expertise on the two workstreams to practice, sales and presales team, to help win new engagements from current and prospective clients
• Contribute to technology talks and team townhalls, as a senior leader of the company

Candidate requirements:

• About 20 years of overall technology experience,
• About 10 years of recent experience in leading large transformation programs, covering Data & Analytics, AI / ML (including Gen AI / LLM / SLM), legacy transformation, cloud migration, cloud-native development, cybersecurity, enterprise-grade web & mobile development and allied areas
• About 5+ years of recent experience in leading large technology teams
• Global experience and exposure, preferably with some years of experience working onsite in overseas locations in US / UK / EMEA / APAC, spearheading delivery
• Career start with experience in building end-to-end business applications with technologies / stacks like C#, Java, JS frameworks, Angular, with subsequent transition to full-time Digital or Data roles
• Industry presence and thought leadership in relevant technology areas is highly preferable
• Technology and delivery solutioning and presales expertise will be a huge plus
• Repertoire of soft skills, required to excel in the role   
• Demonstrably strong technical foundation, product mindset, Agile leadership, people management (including coaching, mentoring and fostering career growth of team members
• Solid understanding of cloud-native development, including cloud platforms (AWS preferred), microservices architecture, containerization, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD
