Senior financial reporting analyst
Tаsks & rеsponsibilitiеs:
- Actively participates at the preparation of annual, as well as interim IFRS financial statements at both company (individual) and group level (consolidated), as well as at the preparation of other periodical financial reports submitted to various authorities (ANAF, ASF, BNR, INS).
- Ensures the collection, consolidation, and reconciliation of data received from subsidiaries, necessary for the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other reports.
- Participates at the preparation of financial and accounting data, necessary for the calculation of net asset value of the fund.
- Participates at the budgeting process, both in preparation and monitoring activities.
- Participates at the yearly audit process and any other similar projects, ensuring the prompt preparation of necessary documentation requested in this respect.
- Participates at the yearly inventory process.
- Take part in the development, update and implementation of the internal policies and procedures related to the financial and accounting activity.
- Prepares ad-hoc analysis and reports requested by the management.
- Participates at other internal projects, including the ones related to the changes in regulations applicable or to the improvement of accounting / reporting software, coordinated by both finance and other departments.
- Performs other activities related to finance area.
- Keeps himself/herself updated with the changes in financial and fiscal related legislation, ensuring implementation and monitoring compliance with them, as well as with other internal regulations.
- Ensures effective communication within functional line and between various departments as well as with company’s subsidiaries, as required in the financial reporting process.
Job requirements:
- University Degree in Economics or other relevant domains.
- Minimum 3-year experience in financial reporting/audit activity, with proven track record of experience in IFRS financial statements preparation (preferable in the preparation of consolidated financial statements).
- Experience in working in / with financial institutions and/or companies from different sectors of activity (industrial production, agriculture, real estate, services, etc) is an important advantage.
- IFRS: very good level of knowledge.
- Fiscal and accounting legislation: very good level of knowledge.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) proficiency level.
- English language: fluent.
- Ability to self-update with the company’s activity related legislation, including the ASF applicable regulations.
- Experience with listed companies, as well as experience/ knowledge of capital market legislation will represent an advantage.
- Finalized or on going ACCA certification will represent an advantage.
