Job Summary:

A leader to head Mechatronics team of approximately 100 engineers with ability to provide strategic directions to make the center as center of excellence for Mechatronics. Understand customer needs and provide solutions. Provide Technology roadmap to mechatronics global network.

Direct Supervisor Position: Global Electrification Lead and County Leader

Key Responsibilities:

Create a strong team of BSW, Open ECU and AUTOSAR
Set up Electrification Product Support group for local & global demand.
Set up EV software integration group for global demand
Provide strategy to build Electrification and Mechatronics competencies in India
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Electrification and Mechatronics engineers and researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Global Mechatronics support -Execute Technology roadmaps within Global Mechatronics network.
Understand Customer needs and satisfactory solutions. Manage & improve the resource skills for software engineering for cross-functional customer project and product segment teams
To identify trends/activities to support introduction of new solutions and technologies
Optimize the used tools inside the software engineering concerning quality, usability, effectiveness, connectivity, and costs in cooperation with Global Head of Mechatronics

Key Activities:

Meet AOP number expectation by norms or by ESP HC.
Build electrification Application engineering team to support domestic business.
Build a plan & execute 50% - motor inverter testing capability within company and locally to support the Domestic requirements.
Coordinate overall Electrification and Mechatronics activities in India across all BUs as part of Global Mechatronics & Electrification Network.
Responsible for developing and overseeing the engineering team to identify trends/activities to support introduction of new solutions and technologies into India market.
Develop competencies and way of working as part of our Global Mechatronics & Electrification network.
Provide technical support to the customer, manufacturing plants and sales department during sourcing, product development, launch, and throughout production.
Accountable for executing Technology roadmaps agreed within our Global Mechatronics network
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrification, mechatronics, and related technologies.
