Role Profile:

We are looking a driven candidate with experience in asset management to join an expanding team in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities will include the day to day coordination within the Investment department of ongoing projects as well coordinating the team’s monthly deliverables. The role will provide the successful candidate with extensive internal exposure across multiple internal departments, as well as direct exposure to the workings and decision making within the Investment team. The Investment team have a multi manager approach to investing and so the position will have direct exposure to the world’s leading managers across multiple asset classes.

Duties:

• Oversight of the drafting of Investment guidelines.
• Coordinating the onboarding of investment mandates.
• Assisting the Investment COO in delegate oversight.
• Coordinating new Terms of business across multiple departments for Target fund investments.
• Assisting COO on Investment team budget.
• Driving change across the investment team through technology.
• Project management, liaising with internal departments and externals as needed.
• Managing requests from end distributors in key markets (Italy, Spain, Germany) for deliverables.
• Ad hoc projects for Investment COO. Examples of ad hoc tasks could include, Project managing new fund launches, implementation of IT solutions to allow accurate decision making, overseeing Investment processes and process documentation to ensure robust governance.

• Numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail essential.
• Good communication skills, both oral & written.
• Good negotiator and personable individual.
•  Advanced Microsoft office skills

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years in financial services.
• Honours graduate (business discipline).
• Good knowledge of mutual fund landscape and insurance industry advantageous.
