THE PROJECT
My client is a Spanish rising start up in the health sector, developing mobile applications to improve its client’s mental health through the use of new technologies. They have a lot of room to growth in the Spanish market and they are looking forward to expanding its market to European countries. Its new and young team, full of fresh talent, will surely make you feel really comfortable. Being open to new ideas is the must of their team. They have the challenge of make their apps more appealing and functional for their clients. And that is the fascinating project you will engage. They are based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, although they offer complete remote job possibility.
THE ROLE
As a Senior iOS Developer you will be joining their mobile development team. You will be leading their efforts to build the team, architecture, and processes of a set of apps related to health. You will be in charge of the development, maintenance, testing and improvement of their core apps. You will have to work and play with many different libraries and SDKs (Widgets, WatchOS, MacOS, CoreML, CoreData…) in order to create a strong and well-tested code and make the design and ideas teams reality in their apps.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5+ years writing code.
- 2+ years in Objective-C, Swift and Cocoa Touch.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines and Apple development tools (e.g. Xcode, LLDB, and Instruments) and different SDKs.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with UI/UX design and product.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications and architecting back-end solutions.
- Managing of growth initiatives like A/B testing and rapid prototyping.
- Experience with Machine Learning and sorting algorithms.
- Willingness to working in a high growth startup.
- Fluent English.
- Passion and curiosity to know the insights of the health sector.
