Role Details:
• Title / Designation: Senior IT Application Analyst – FIS
• Location: Gurugram, India
• Work mode: HybridRole & Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for FIS applications and related business processes
• Analyze production incidents, defects, processing exceptions, and interface failures to identify root causes and drive resolution
• Gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements for fixes and enhancements
• Support solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production validation
• Monitor application performance, transaction flows, interfaces, and operational trends
• Investigate data discrepancies, reconciliation breaks, and failed transactions
• Support integrations including APIs, file-based, and middleware-enabled interfaces
• Validate data mappings, transformation logic, reconciliation rules, and exception handling
• Support incident triage, problem management, escalation, and release readiness activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including process flows and support procedures
• Drive automation and continuous improvements to enhance system reliabilityCandidate Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in technical analysis, systems analysis, or application support
• 5+ years of experience supporting FIS applications (Treasury & Risk Manager, SWIFT Services, GetPaid)
• Strong experience in production support, transaction processing, and data flow analysis
• Knowledge of APIs, file interfaces, middleware, and reconciliation processes
• Experience in testing, defect management, and release coordination
• Strong understanding of SDLC, change control, and incident management processes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications:
• Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or transaction-processing environments
• Familiarity with banking file formats such as BAI, MT940, CAMT52
• Exposure to enterprise monitoring and service management tools
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid environmentsEducation & Other Details:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
