For our customer, a production company located in Turda, Cluj, we are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer. 

1.    Pre-requirement: Outstanding English level, both written and spoken is a must-have as the role has to interact and collaborate with others out of his country of location:

• IT products and services providers
• Internal IT team that is spread worldwide
• Users / internal customers

2.    Responsibilities: This role will be integrated into the global IT infrastructure team reporting directly to the head of IT infrastructure. As a senior member of the team, this role will collaborate and be accountable for the assigned tasks required for:

• monitoring and operation of the IT infrastructure of all the manufacturing plants, commercial and administrative locations of the holding
• identification and implementation of improvements to the infrastructure either via enhancements of the current systems or the implementation of new ones
• identification of cybersecurity risks as well as the design and implementation of countermeasures
• lead projects / act an as a project manager when the implementation requires the involvement of external support companies

3.    Knowledge and experience in the following technologies:

Mandatory deep knowledge and at least 5 years of experience in:

• MS Active Directory
• MS Office 365 configuration and operation
• MS Exchange
• VmWare virtualization infrastructure, mainly ESX
• Citrix XenServer virtualization infrastructure
• Citrix XenApp
• MS Windows server, both in physical and virtual environments
• MS Terminal Server
• MS SQL Server
• Azure Cloud configuration and operation
• MS SCCM
• MS WSUS
• Fortinet firewalls
• Allied Telesis switches and APs configuration and operation
• Hewlett Packard Procurve and Office Connect Switches

Important to have knowledge and experience in:

• MS Sharepoint infrastructure
• MS Navision / Business Central infrastructure
• Veeam Backup
• Linux operating systems
• NAS: Netapp, Dell Equalogic, Qnap, Synology
• Ubiquiti AP
• Cisco switches

Valuable: Any certification regarding service management (ITIL, ISO 20000), networking (CCNA, CCNP, or similar), security (ISO 27000) and project management (PMP, Prince 2)
