Our client is a rapidly growing AI technology company, based in Dublin, Ireland providing software solutions for both non-clinical and Clinical Pathology. From its inception in 2017, the company has scaled rapidly to a team of over 60 people, based in 6 countries worldwide, and is projected to hit 70+ people by late 2021. The company also has US & UK subsidiaries, with plans to expand into new markets. The company has been heavily involved in R&D with several EU and national grants to drive new product pipeline development. This has been supplemented with significant investment funding from VCs and private entities to enable the company's commercial development and growth.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintain IT infrastructure (servers, networks, communications systems, endpoints) and manage help desk issues.
- Provide end-user technical support, to our client's employees, sub-contractors and partners ▪ Properly escalate unresolved issues to other internal teams as appropriate
- Maintain and configure Information Security software while ensuring incidents are managed alongside the Director of IS/IT
- Deployment and maintenance of all employee IT Equipment
- Install, maintain and configure hardware and software systems according to company policies ▪ Perform routine maintenance, inspection & testing of network and server systems to verify functionality and performance
- Processing of incoming and outgoing equipment shipments & maintenance of internal asset registers
- Proactive identification of process improvements to reduce the numbers of frequently occurring IT requests
- Work with the accounts team to stock technical equipment and accessories as required
- Maintain and enforce IT policies/procedures in line with Regulatory, Legislative, Quality & Information Security requirements
- Through education, information and coaching, supporting users on how best to use IT resources
- Provide advice and training to associates.
- Liaise and collaborate with core teams in support of business goals
- Interactions with third parties & vendors
- Responsible for tracking warranties on company assets.
Education / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience in Systems Administration required.
Required Experience for the Role:
- 3+ years professional IT experience
- Experience implementing & supporting enterprise LAN/WAN networks
- Experience with administration of Office 365 and Google Suite platforms
- Experience configuring and managing NAS storage servers
- Creating and maintaining Domains
- Router/Firewall/VPN configuration
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working in an ISO 27001 certified environment is a distinct advantage.
- Experience in Information Security is a distinct advantage.
- Experience managing Google WorkSpace Enterprise a distinct advantage.
