Responsibilities

- Writing code based on requirements
- Understand and, if needed, challenge the requirements coming from business
- Actively participate in code review, development shadowing, testing, development detail design, and agile ceremonies
- Design and develop Java-based apps that cover all the basic architectural principles starting from high-volume & low-latency systems to critical systems in high-availability environments
- Contribute with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the development process
- We are big fans of the quote “We build it, we run it!”. As you can imagine, that means we are Dev-Ops fans, and this can be translated into building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
- L3 support for live applications

Skills

Must have

• 3 to 5 years of software development experience with 3+ years of extensive experience on the Java platform
• Strong experience in programming languages and frameworks - Java, J2EE, Spring MVC Framework and Hibernate etc.
• Strong experience in RESTful web services, SQL, Oracle, JSON, and OOPs using the Java platform
• Responsible person for ensuring that Java best practices are adhered to
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, particularly on class hierarchy, constructors etc.
• Responsible person for technical design documentation
• Quick learner and highly motivated to himself/herself abreast with the latest technologies
• Good communication skills (Must)
