Job DESCRIPTION

• Develop, test, and deliver high-quality software/solutions. 
• Provide estimates to the Product Owner. 
• Review additional product/project deliverables e.g., external & internal specifications and user documentation. 
• Create and review unit/component integration test plans and scripts, execute tests, analyze, and report on the results. 
• Participate in code reviews/inspections. 
• Research and resolve customer/project reported problems. 
• Previous card payments experience and knowledge to our networks such as VISA, Mastercard, Discover, etc. 

Must have skills and experience with: 

• Java and any JEE framework especially spring/spring-boot 
• Unix/Linux platform  
• PostgreSQL  

Good to have: 

• Knowledge and experience using Oracle or DB2 
• Familiarity with code management tools (GIT, Synergy, etc.) is desirable 

Highly Desired Qualifications 

• Previous experience in developing card payments software solutions including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, JCB, etc. 

• Business knowledge about card payments industry is a plus 
• Work Experience in Agile Methodology would be preferable 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience
• 8+ years of software development experience. 
• Willingness to learn, both old and new technologies, to solve problems and take the product in new directions 
• An attitude to take on challenges 

• Able to collaborate with a highly collaborative team
• Good oral and written communication skills are required, including the ability to interface well with others 
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure is required 
• The ability to organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required 
• Should be self-motivated and capable of working independently 

Work Environment:

• Standard work environment
• Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
