Our client is a rapidly growing AI technology company, based in Dublin, Ireland providing software solutions for both non-clinical and Clinical Pathology. From its inception in 2017, the company has scaled rapidly to a team of over 60 people, based in 6 countries worldwide, and is projected to hit 70+ people by late 2021. The company also has US & UK subsidiaries, with plans to expand into new markets. The company has been heavily involved in R&D with several EU and national grants to drive new product pipeline development. This has been supplemented with significant investment funding from VCs and private entities to enable the company's commercial development and growth.
Role and Responsibilities:
▪ Lead the development of migrating our image viewer to the web.
▪ Collaborate with product management to refine UX Design concepts.
▪ Translate UX Design concepts into web UI.
▪ Produce work that is at the highest standard and implements best practices.
▪ Produce Unit tests for the work that is produced.
▪ Complete all mandatory company training and job-specific training required for the role, including ISMS, GLP, DocuSign, SDLC as applicable.
Education / Qualifications:
▪ Bachelors in computer science degree or equivalent Computer Science specialization.
Required Experience for the Role:
▪ Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a JavaScript Engineer.
▪ Extensive experience with Web Image Viewing technologies (similar to OpenStreetMap, geotiff.js viewers).
▪ Extensive experience on JS web frameworks ReactJS, Vue, Angular.
▪ Extensive Experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
▪ Experience in responsive and reactive web applications.
▪ Experience in implementing a UI from design / UX screenshots.
▪ Experience in CSS frameworks Bootstrap CSS.
▪ Experience in using JS automation frameworks Grunt.
▪ Experience in different forms of request authentication (JWT, Session Cookie).
▪ Experience in JS Testing Frameworks.
▪ Experience with web security vulnerabilities (CORS, XSS, CSFR).
▪ Experience with GLP regulations or software will be a ‘distinct advantage’.
