Job Description

• Drafting and preparation of contracts /agreements for trade of commodities and other legal documents (loan agreements, bank facilities) to ensure legal risks are covered.
• Drafting, reviewing, and vetting correspondence having legal implication to ensure that the
• company’s interests are well protected.
• Assist in contract negotiations and revisions to ensure that company’s interests are adequately protected, and that laws and established policies are followed
• Advise management in legal process and documentation in M&A process.
• Identifying and onboarding external counsels to represent company in  third party notices, litigations.
• Briefing external counsellor and Directors on various legal implications and advising on possible mitigations based on applicable laws at different country/ country of arbitration etc.
• Advise, represent, and assist Directors on relevant judicial matters and legislative changes.
• Negotiation and/or files legal briefs and documents including applications, opinions, contracts, notices, and agreements.
• Creates long-term compliance strategies and establishes compliance-related standards and procedures that support legal and operational compliance with all laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with regulatory regimes and maintains filings with appropriate government authorities.
• Ensure record keeping and maintenance of legal documents and legal records of the company

Required Qualification AND EXPERIENCE:

• Masters in Law highly preferred, Bachelor of Law (L.LB) will be a must.
• Must have a minimum of 7 - 11 years - similar experience in Corporates across Manufacturing and Trading industries with expertise reviewing and drafting international contracts and agreements
