Hiring for a Manager – Finance & Accounting for a global IT Services, Digital Solutions, Data & Analytics, and Business Process Services major.

Role & responsibilities:
- Ensure end-to-end operations management for Accounting & Analysis function.
- Review of critical journal entries, reconciliations, and month/quarter-end activities before onshore sign-off.
- Consult with BU Controllers, Up steam & Downstream teams during the close to ensure timely completion of deliverables and escalation of issues.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders for deliverables/special projects.
- Partner with the onshore team to support internal/ external audits.
- Understand & anticipate clients’ business needs, concerns & issues, and be able to proactively resolve the same.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and enhanced controls.
- Create systems & checks for internal compliance policies & guidelines & ensure maintenance of clear and precise records per the requirements.
- Act as a point of escalation for any operational issue.
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in accounting and reconciliation.
- Must have experience in insurance industry.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in team handling
- Good understanding of GAAP & STAT rules governing the business.
- People management skills – able to demonstrate a keen interest in retention management & employee engagement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Qualified/Semi-qualified accountant/master’s in finance
