About the Company: My client is an MNC which is into business process management and provides operational expertise across various industries and functions along with providing clients with service solutions.
Brief Description/Role Objective: This individual will be responsible for leading the team of accountants and responsible for the consolidation of the Business Units/ Division financial results and entity level reports. The role will support in finalising financial information prior to submission to Group Finance, Business Partners and the Business Units.
Primary Responsibilities: Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Review and supervise the analysis of information from the general ledger and other accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness, and take corrective action, as appropriate
- Oversee and review Balance Sheet analysis, review P&L and adjustments made by accountants
- Support the Corporate function in the consolidation of the BU / Division financial results
- Oversee the preparation of Group financial reports and responsible for the accurate month end reporting
- Facilitates the provision of general accounting support and month end reports
- Review and supervise fixed asset processing and payroll accounting to enable controlling, reporting and capital expenditure management
- Manage any regulatory submissions and be a point of contact for regulatory bodies
- Adhoc reporting and stakeholder management
- Manage and lead teams and mange workload efficiently across resources
Skillset and requirements:
- 12+ years post qualification experience
- Experience of having worked as a Legal Entity Controller and ability to handle complex processes and set of operations in the finance domain.
- Should be well versed with IFRS and UK GAAP accounting
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with prior experience of managing a team.
- Effectively communicate financial performance and impact to operational colleagues
- Ability to think out of box, bring improvements and fluid approach towards changes.
