Purpose- The role will be responsible for leading the internal audit team to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

·Manage the daily process of pre-audit function, conduct comprehensive financial audits of various real estate projects.

·Engage in establishing audit objectives and develop audit programs including time estimates, plan of work and steps necessary to collect data and document findings.

·Keep proper filing for working papers and record notes and obtain enough evidence to support audit findings and recommendations.

·Evaluate operational procedures across the company to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, effectiveness, and risk mitigation.

·Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies for mitigating identified risks and enhancing controls.

·Plan and execute audits based on a risk-based approach, setting objectives, scopes, and timelines.

·Perform audit tests, gather evidence, and analyze findings objectively.

·Present audit results and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain an in-depth understanding of various business operations and processes

·Work along with management to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

·Professional Certifications as ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIA/ACCA/CCSA/ACPA is a must

·Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

·8 to 12 years of auditing experience with one of the big international auditing firms / Real Estate.

·Must have experience working for a well known property developer or a group holding entity in UAE
