Role details:
- Title / Designation: Senior Manager – IT Auditor
- Work mode: Hybrid
- Location: Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune
- Reporting to: AVP – Internal Audit and Risk
Role & responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide IT risk assessments and develop a comprehensive, risk-based audit plan for group entities.
- Plan and execute end-to-end IT audits covering ITGC, SDLC, SaaS platforms, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure environments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance, risk, and control frameworks in alignment with industry standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST).
- Identify key IT risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities; conduct walkthroughs with business and technology stakeholders.
- Prepare clear, actionable audit reports and track remediation actions, providing periodic status updates to senior management and Audit Committee.
- Support special reviews, investigations, regulatory compliance assessments, and identification of potential technology-related fraud risks.
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT audit, IT governance, cybersecurity, and risk management.
- Strong hands-on experience with ITGC, application controls, infrastructure audits, and systems supporting financial reporting.
- Deep working knowledge of industry frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, and related audit methodologies.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with proven ability to work independently and engage senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
