Job Summary
This is a client facing role manging the UHNI / HNI relationships, with highest customer focus and understanding the financial requirements of the clients and recommending right products and services. The person is responsible to acquire, develop and enhance the portfolio
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with existing and prospective clients, focusing on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons to tailor investment strategies accordingly.
- Portfolio Management:
- Design and implement investment strategies that align with clients' financial goals, using a mix of products (e.g., equities, bonds, mutual funds, and various other investment products).
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and rebalancing based on market trends, client goals, and risk tolerance.
- Use tools, information, and delivery channels effectively to deliver the highest levels of client service
- Financial Planning & Advisory:
- Create comprehensive financial plans, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and insurance strategies wherever required.
- Educate clients on market conditions, investment options, and long-term financial planning to ensure informed decision-making.
- Product Knowledge & Recommendation:
- Stay updated on new products, trends, and regulations in wealth management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Recommend products and solutions that best suit clients’ needs, such as structured products, alternative investments, or custom solutions.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct research and analysis on market trends, investment opportunities, and economic developments.
- Present insights and recommendations to clients and the broader team on market changes and their potential impact on client portfolios.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards while providing investment solutions.
- Identify, assess, and manage risk within client portfolios, ensuring proactive adjustments as needed.
- Business Development:
- Develop a network of potential clients through referrals, networking events, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with other departments to cross-sell products and services that meet clients' needs.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with clients
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends
- Proficiency in financial planning and advisory tools and CRM systems
- Strong ethical standards, ensuring client interests are prioritized
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Certified Financial Planner / CFA desirable
- Min 6 to 8 years of experience in wealth management, private banking related field with Proven track record in managing HNW and UHNW clients
