About the Job:

The position is for an experienced professional who works with internal & external stakeholders at Corporate Office and various group businesses on matters such as:

• group financial reporting on operational and financial performance and Shareholder's Investment with the objective of highlighting the key movements supported by deep and in-depth analysis to pick up the key trends early.
• supports strategic decisions on various investments and divestments through operational and financial analysis,
• monitor the financial performance and health of the businesses on continuous basis and reports exceptions timely,
• works with various functions viz tax, legal, treasury & secretarial for evaluation of internal and external restructuring projects with respect to the Businesses and Shareholders Entities,
• Custodian of important financial & confidential data for the group.
• Works closely with select businesses for approving the Business Plans and Strategic initiatives.

Complete strategic fit and financial/economic analysis of opportunities. Help present opportunities to the executive management group and Board of Directors of Group companies or Corporate, as required:

• Active and regular interaction with senior management of all the businesses to focus on key business and strategic drivers.
• Manage structured business reviews and financial reporting of Group companies.
• Benchmark of business performance and strategy with peer companies in both domestic and International industries.
• Information feed to Business Sponsor and the Corporate Governance Board.
• Strong engagement and successful closure of shareholder/promoters’ matters.
• Interactions with JV partners for operational/strategic matters concerned with the Group Corporate Office.
• Key inputs and validation of AOP numbers and process

The ideal candidate:

• Preferred to be a Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of strong financial & governance background with good working knowledge of taxation and related business laws.
• Somebody who has been part of the Promoter group/ Shareholder group office/ Private Equity Office and has evaluated multiple businesses as a part of their role at the Investment stage or at asset performance monitoring stage.
• Functional knowledge of various facets of Buy and Sell transactions from FEMA, Tax, Regulatory standpoint
• Ability to read and assimilate voluminous data from diverse industries on an ongoing basis.
• Business and commercial acumen to understand the business and delivery models of various industries.
• Ability to interact with apex levels and operational teams with required maturity
