Job Description:
Responsible for the entire gamut of Finance and Accounts and client related activities of the Organization:
- Knowledge and exposure in C.A and adhere to mandatory compliance from the angle of audits.
- Must Lead and nurture the F & A team
- To direct and oversee all the financial activities of the company including preparation of current financial reports, summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook
- Provide commercial direction & business development of company with particular emphasis on developing the service offerings and revenue generation streams
- Responsible in directing the financial affairs of the organization and prepare financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of Management
- Responsible for the company's financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports
- Responsible for supervision over general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls
- Over all responsible for Accounting, Banking, Taxation, Costing, Insurance & Contracting
- Maintain the company's system of accounts and keep books and records on all company transactions and assets
- Responsible to ensure that all finance and commercial processes are complied, at state level of all the Branches across India
- Responsible for complete management of Import Cycle, Custom and related local Statutory compliances of the company and compliance with Import procedures
- Import formalities and liaison with necessary authorities
- Preparation, Finalization & Analysis of Financial Statements & Reports , Budgets/Results, Statutory Returns filing
- To handle acquisitions/mergers/demergers
- Knowledge on

- Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information
- Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization
- Responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel in the Accounting Department, recommend training requirements, to keep the staff at the highest level of skill necessary to meet company needs and objectives, and may recommend that personnel be hired or removed from the Department
- Establish major economic objectives and policies for the company and prepare reports that outline the company's financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institute and maintain other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyzes and reports variances
- Determine depreciation rates to apply to capitalized items and advise management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax revisions
- Evaluate and recommend insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential
liabilities
- Responsible in providing the organization and its Management with the appropriate and necessary financial and operating information. This individual and the accounting staff are expected to work closely with other department groups on problems involving accounting systems and financial planning
- Responsible for Management reporting, policy-making, technical & analytical guidance in identifying & solving problems within the functional limits as it pertains to the Department
- Ensure that the company policy is complied with, assisting other departments in forecasting personnel and financial needs, accelerating cash receipts and controlling disbursements, overseeing bank balances, maintaining lines of credit and banking relationships, recommending investment vehicles (and coordinating cash needs with investments, if any), establishing and maintaining credit and collection procedures, controlling profit-sharing records, and evaluating and implementing computerized accounting systems.

- A very strong candidate who has handled complete Commercial Department i.e Imports, Customs, DGFT, JDGFT

- Knowledge of EDP-oriented accounting systems.
