Job Description

• Help in managing & maintaining Data-Lake and operational data store 
• Improvise on the Business Intelligence Data mart to facilitate fast and high-end Analytics & Reporting. (Internal / External)
• Ensuring data consistency & Quality in hybrid system environment

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Be involved in maintaining data pipeline for various kind of Dumps, Reports & MIS
• Maintaining the ETL Jobs created for various reports as well as report bursting.
• Provide analytics support spanning the entire gamut of business journey like new business, renewal, customer servicing, claim, sales and distribution management.
• Smooth transition from SQL to Data Lake using Greenplum (Array of Postgres) DB
• Ensure excellent support for various business requirements.
• Ensuring Service request closure withing TAT
• Work along with other functional units to identify opportunities for analytical inputs which positively impact stated business goals.
• Enabling data integrity, collation & reporting standards
• Automation of Data Lake and ODS production activities
• Support strategic and other organizational Initiatives

Knowledge / Experience / Skills

• 5+ years of experience in managing Datawarehouse/ Data Lake/ ODS
• Managing team- Direct and vendor resources
• Managing biz stakeholders
• Strong analytics skills & hands on with reporting and Integration tools Experience in development of robust business cases supported by data.
• Good communication skill

Technical Exposure (Must Have)

• DB: MSQL, Postgres (Query, Store procedure, Job Scheduling)
• ETL: SSRS, SSIS, Pentaho, (Data Cleansing, data transformation, report creation, Report Bursting)
• Data Pipeline set up.
• Query and procedure optimization
• Creating DB ecosystem which can manage scale and be stable

Skill good to have

• Big data, Spark, Kafka (Good to have)
• PowerBI, Tableau
